To work, you will need the following materials and tools:
- patches of dense fabric of different colors;
- threads
- scissors;
- square or ruler for cutting;
- filler for pillows.
The first step in creating a product is cutting. Cut 82 squares of equal size from the prepared rags. The larger the side of each square used, the larger the pillow will be. For example, if the side of the square is 10 cm, then the finished product will have a size of about 50 cm in height and 60 cm in width.
After cutting, lay out the squares on the table according to the pattern to choose a combination of colors. You can chop the resulting layout with pins for convenience. Or you can just take a picture of it and orient yourself in further work on the photo.
After that, start stitching the squares one by one, methodically collecting this original puzzle pillow in the shape of a dog.
Leave two or three squares unstitched at the bottom of the pillow, turn the product face out, and place the filler inside. If the side of the square is 10 cm, then the filler on the pillow will need about 300 - 400 g.
After the filler is evenly distributed inside the product, carefully sew the remaining hole manually. The pillow is ready.
