In this review, the master makes a small decorative pond in the form of a sailboat. The idea may appeal to those who have a private house or cottage.
First you will need to prepare the foundation. Ideally, this should be a concrete base. And on top of the concrete should be tile.
After the foundation is ready, the author puts on it the first row of the brick wall of the future decorative pond.
Then we drive out the second, third and fourth rows of bricks. Horizontal and vertical seams should be well coated with mortar, as there will be water inside the “sailboat”.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author completes the laying of the fifth row of bricks, after which he begins construction work inside the "sailing ship".
First, the master erects three brick columns. A concrete column is laid on them. Then two more columns are laid perpendicularly. The author makes "sails" of brick.
Then it remains only to make the stern and bow of the sailboat out of brick. Then it will be possible to pour water into the pond.
