A simple feeder from a plastic sewer pipe is an excellent homemade product for those who keep poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, etc.).

Its feature is that the feed container will always be full. The larger the feed hopper, the longer the birds will be able to "serve" themselves without your participation.

First of all, it will be necessary to cut a piece about 30 cm long from a plastic sewer pipe with a diameter of 110 mm. For this, the author uses a hand hacksaw for metal.

The main stages of work

In a plastic pipe, the author inserts a plug, drills two holes and screws it onto the screws. The plug must be plastic.

At the next stage, you need to make markings and drill four more (and more) holes around the circumference. But not with an ordinary drill, but with a feather.

After that, cut off the bottom of the plastic bucket with a clerical knife. This will be a bowl ("plate") for feed, from which poultry will peck grain. In the center you need to drill a hole.

The author glues a part of a plastic bottle with a neck to the inside of the plug. Then the plug must be installed back into the pipe.

At the last stage, it remains only to screw the plastic "plate" for the feed to the plug, and the home-made cooking.
