In this review, the author shows how to make a universal rocket furnace with your own hands. This will require a gas bottle and a piece of metal pipe.
The design of the rocket furnace is designed in such a way that with its help it is possible not only to cook food, but also to melt aluminum in a crucible. In general, such a stove will definitely not be superfluous in the household.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to unscrew the valve on a cylinder of 50 liters. In some cases, if the valve does not want to unscrew, you can try using a vice or various home-made devices.
After the valve has been unscrewed, we insert the hose into the hole in the cylinder and fill it with water (or you can use buckets through the watering can if there is no hose). It is not safe to cut it with a grinder without filling the cylinder with water!
Then we cut off the lower part of the large balloon - this will be the base of the rocket furnace. You will also need a piece of pipe, but you can use the body of a fire extinguisher. Workpieces need to be cleaned with a grinder and welded together.
Furnace manufacturing process
At the next stage, you need to cut off the upper part from the smaller cylinder, and cut a round hole in it. Then it needs to be welded to the rack.
Moreover, in the pipe itself (in its lower part) you need to drill a hole with a crown. Another piece of pipe is welded into it.
Next, a circle is cut out of sheet metal in which many holes need to be drilled (perforated). This circle is welded to the top of the rack.
Then the author makes a round box of sheet metal and welds it to the main structure. It will also be necessary to weld a small cylinder.
