It often happens that heating radiators do not heat well. Why is this happening? Most often, the reason is simple - dirt accumulates in narrow radiator plates, which interferes with the normal circulation of hot water.
To fix this problem, you need to clean the radiator. There is a simple way how this can be done in literally 10-15 minutes. No need to seek help from a plumber.
The first step is to shut off the water. To do this, taps are provided on the heating pipe - it is necessary to shut off both taps (above and below).
The main stages of work
Next, you need to unscrew the cap at the top of the radiator, substituting a basin or other container so that water does not fall on the floor.
After that, open the water supply. Together with it, all the dirt from the radiator will come out. Then we block the pipe again and twist the plug.
Then we unscrew the cap at the bottom of the radiator, and repeat the procedure. That is, first we completely drain all the water, and then we open the water supply, as in the first case.
Next, we shut off the water, and twist the plug, tightening it with a wrench or adjustable wrench. Then we turn on both taps and fill the battery. You will also need to let out air.
