This will require: trimming the profile pipe, angles, a long stud or screw, mounting bolts, nuts with washers, thick plates for clamping jaws, as well as metal strips, a square thick-walled pipe (this is perhaps the only material that you will need to look for) .
In a section of a profile 4 cm long in the center, holes with a diameter of 17 mm must be drilled. And then we weld the obtained parts to pieces of a profile pipe 30 cm long. As a result, a rectangular frame should be obtained. We insert a screw into the through holes drilled in the profiles.
The process of manufacturing a bench vise
We screw the nut onto the screw and drill a hole with a diameter of 3 mm in it, and insert the cotter pin. Then on the other side of the screw it is necessary to make a hole with a diameter of 10 mm. Next, using angle grinders or on a band saw, two corners should be cut from a piece of thick-walled pipe.
We attach plates with a thickness of 12 mm to them (clamping jaws), after which we drill two holes in them with a diameter of 5 mm and cut the M6 thread. Then, in the plates themselves, it is necessary to make a sweat under the caps of the bolts.
