This unique coffee table, made of wood and glass, is in perfect harmony with different styles of design, and can also act as one of the central accents in the interior. Despite the visual complexity of the design, everyone can make such a table. From the tool, you only need a miter saw and a surface gage (a grinder is suitable instead).

First of all, you need to saw forty wooden bars with sides 40x40 mm and a length of 40 cm. For this, it is better to use a miter saw with a saw blade mounted on a tree of 48 teeth to get a perfectly even and clean cut. For a better cut, it is advisable to use masking tape. Then we proceed to the main part of the work.

The process of making a coffee table

Finished wooden blocks must be passed through the thicknesser in order to drive them into one size. If there is no thicknesser, you can use a conventional grinder with a nozzle for grinding. Next, we mark the surface to accurately apply glue and proceed to gluing the bars, laying them on top of one another with a diagonal offset.

As the height of the structure increases, it must be fixed on the workbench using clamps. It is necessary to glue the bars together extremely carefully, since it will not work to ensure their sufficient stability on the table. After drying, you need to glue the second workpiece to the finished spiral, but at an angle of 90 degrees.

In order not to paint over the natural texture of wood, we cover the surface with special furniture oil. On three vertical bars it is necessary to apply glue, and then glue the tabletop from rectangular dark glass. The result is a very unusual and original coffee table in 3D style.
