Such a mobile-type summer shower is distinguished by its simplicity of design, lightness and compact size, due to which it can be installed anywhere in the summer cottage. The main materials for this homemade product are polypropylene pipes. Thus, this is a great budget option for those who are used to saving.
First of all, from polypropylene pipes, it is necessary to cut blanks for the frame of the summer shower: two long and six short segments. Also fitting elements are required: tees, angles and plugs. Using a soldering iron for PP pipes, you need to connect the workpieces to each other. This is done in the following sequence:
First, two short pipes on the sides and one long pipe are inserted into the central tee, which will serve as a vertical stand. Plugs are installed on short pipes. At the free end of a long pipe, a 90 degree bend is installed.
Then, in a similar manner, the second “half” of the frame of the summer shower is made, only in one of the short pipes, instead of the plug, is it necessary to install an adapter for the watering hose. As a result, at this stage two T-shaped halves should be obtained.
The vertical racks of the summer shower are interconnected by two short pipes connected by a tee. The result should be a U-shaped design.
The portable summer shower needs to be installed in a suitable place and to connect to it a watering hose from a water supply system or a tank with water. As a base, you can use wooden bars. To make the structure more rigid, you can pull the ropes along the edges.
