Using such a homemade nozzle for an electric or chainsaw, you can clean metal and wood surfaces much faster. And for this you do not have to change the design of the chain saw itself. You can make a cleaning nozzle from improvised materials.

Nozzle manufacturing process

First of all, we fix a long hairpin in the chuck of the lathe, on the end of which we wind four nuts. Then, having installed a suitable cutter, we grind the outer side faces of the nuts. After that, we put four round brushes on the hairpin, squeeze them with additional nuts, and fasten the clamps along the edges.
At the ends of the studs, we drill holes and screw in them the bolts with the heads for the Allen key and tighten them well. We cut off two pieces of a profile pipe of rectangular section, make two holes in them and fasten them to the "sole" of the clamps. Then we weld a steel plate to the bottom of the profile pipes.

Installing a nozzle on a chainsaw

First, remove the factory tire from the chain saw and install another one - of shorter length. We fix the steel plate to it with bolts, to which we weld the finished nozzle. The chain itself is pulled on a makeshift "sprocket" mounted on a hairpin. Additionally, we attach a protective casing made of a sheet of sheet metal to the nozzle.

At the last stage of work, from a steel corner we make a protective casing for the chain. We fasten it to the tire. The process of manufacturing a cleaning nozzle for a chainsaw, see the video on our website.
