Using this device, you can organize automatic shooting of videos, as well as make photo slides. The design is very simple - you can make such a platform with your own hands from improvised materials.
Device manufacturing process
For this homemade product you will need 4 bolts with bearings (for each bolt - 2 bearings and a nut). You also need to make or find a metal plate in the garage and drill four through holes for the bolts with bearings in it.
After that, it is necessary to take a segment of a square profile pipe 60-65 cm long. Note that the distance between the bearings on the steel plate must be clearly measured - so that the carriage moves freely along the side faces of the pipe.
Further along the edges of the profile pipe, metal plates with stops should be welded, on which the whole structure will stand. The carriage itself (plate with bolts and bearings) should already be mounted on the pipe.
The final stage of work
Then it is necessary to weld a small horizontal platform to one of the sides, on which the electric motor will be mounted - it will drive the slide. On the motor shaft, as well as on the opposite side, you need to install small bushings, on which the belt will then be pulled.
