After all the materials are collected, begin preparatory work for decoupage. Wash the bottle well, removing any stickers. We give time for complete drying. We start from the bottom of the bottle. To do this, we coat a small strip of glue and wrap it with twine, tightly pressing and pulling the thread. For beauty and some zest, you can crochet a braid and start the first row with it, smoothly turning into simple turns of thread.
As one of many options, you can make a gap, stepping back to an arbitrary height, continue wrapping the bottle. As you approach the neck, the strip of glue can be increased in height. This will save a little time. We wrap the cork from the bottle by the same principle.

When the bulk of the work is done, you can start decorating. In this case, as a decoration for a beginner, we offer to make curls in the left gap from the same twine and attach it to the bottle with glue. We paste a bead pre-selected in color, shape and desire into the coil itself. You can also add a bow made of twine if desired. As you gain experience in this direction, the decor can be complicated. In the left gap, you can paint with acrylic paints, from simple geometry to individual compositions, suitable in color and contrast for the shape of the bottle and twine chosen for this work.

An ordinary bottle transformed in this way turns into a vase, which can decorate any room, whether it be a balcony, an entrance hall or any room. It can be filled with water without fear and put fresh flowers. You can close the decorated cork and get a simple figurine. Decoupage of the bottle can be carried out with twine of any color, acrylic paints, use all kinds of materials in the decor. It all depends on the flight of fancy.
