And the first thing you need to disassemble the hydraulic jack. In fact, there is not much mind here - everything is done elementary.
First, the jack needs to be cleaned and washed from dirt. Then we drain the oil through the hole in the housing.
Next, we clamp the sole in a bench vise and unscrew the large nut in the upper part. Then we remove the case itself and unscrew the central part.
The main stages of work
To make the car jack work upside down, you will need a piece of steel pipe with a diameter of 6 mm.
At the end of this tube, it will be necessary to cut the M6 thread to a length of about one centimeter.
Further, using the M6 tap, it is necessary to cut the thread in the hole inside the jack body.
If necessary, the hole must be drilled to the desired diameter. Then be sure to blow everything with compressed air to get rid of the chips, and screw the tube.
Now let's deal with the valve, which is located in the cylinder. So that it does not fall out during operation, you need to support it with a plastic tongue.
We take a soft non-rigid spring, bite off part of it, and insert it into the hole with the ball. Then we press the ball itself with a plastic tongue.
And at the last stage, it remains only to plug the hole in the housing for draining the oil, and drill a new one in the right place.
