To make this original souvenir you will need a piece of plexiglass and an LED. The inscription on the heart can be done using regular toothpaste. If necessary, it is easy to erase it with water, and you can write something else.
First of all, it is necessary to cut a piece with a size of 16 * 16 cm from a piece of plexiglass. In this case, the author uses a 4 mm thick plexiglass. The store usually sells pieces with sizes of 50 * 50 cm and 50 * 25 cm.
The main stages of work
We cut out a heart-shaped template from paper (you can draw it by hand or print it on a printer by downloading a ready-made template from the Internet), then transfer it to a plexiglass and draw a marker around the outline.
You can cut a heart out of Plexiglass using a conventional metal hacksaw or a band saw. Then the edges of the workpiece must be treated with sandpaper.
In the lower part of the heart, a slot is made under the LED. In this case, the author uses a red LED. If desired, you can choose a different color. To fix the LED, ordinary superglue is used.
An empty cream jar is used as a stand (you can ask your wife). It will be necessary to make two slots in it: one under the heart, the second under the button.
At the last stage of work, all parts are fixed on hot-melt adhesive, and it will also be necessary to connect the LED to the button and the power source. In this case, the author uses two finger batteries.
