In this review, the author shows how you can make a simple mechanism for opening home-made sectional doors from the remote control.
Using the remote control is very convenient, since there is no need to get out of the car to open or close the gate.
But specifically in this case, the gates will only open automatically, and close manually - that is, mechanically.
But then it will be possible to do without the use of an electric motor. You only need the activator of the central locking of the car and the control unit with the remote control.

The main stages of work
On the gate (on the inside) there is the most common latch with a spring that locks and opens them.
Using the wire we connect the latch to the activator of the central lock of the car.
We connect the control unit to the activator, which, in turn, connects to the 12V battery. Here is such a simple scheme.
Further, it remains only to adjust the counterweight so that it completely raises the gate.
Instead of the battery, you can also use the power supply from the computer. And so that it does not make noise, the fan can be removed.
